Call for Applicants for Director of The District of Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration Board and Sault Ste. Marie Housing Corporation Board
The District of Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration Board is responsible for the delivery programs including Ontario Works, Early Years, Housing, and Paramedical Services for the City of Sault Ste. Marie, Prince Township and the Sault North Planning Area. The DSSMSSAB Board is comprised of nine (9) elected officials:
• 6 Councillors from the City of Sault Ste. Marie (Appointed by Council)
• 1 Councillor from the Township of Prince and (Appointed by Council)
• 2 individuals elected from the Sault North Planning Board jurisdiction
We are currently seeking to fill one (1) Director vacancy. To be eligible, applicants must:
• Be a Canadian citizen
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Reside in the Territory Without Municipal Organization, or be an owner or tenant of land within that territory, or be the spouse of such an owner or tenant
