The Every Breakfast Counts program helped provide approximately 10,000 free meals to children across Sault Ste. Marie this summer, helping bridge the gap when school-based meal programs are not operating.

DSSAB was proud to support this community effort, with Social Services staff among the volunteers contributing their time and Kids Being Kids programming locations serving as meal distribution sites throughout July and August.

Every Breakfast Counts is made possible through the collective efforts of volunteers, community organizations, donors and partners working together to help ensure children and families have access to nutritious food throughout the summer.
