Social Services Throws a Street Party for the Community

The District of Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration Board hosted its annual Game On! Street Party in the Chapple-Albion neighbourhood, offering free family-friendly activities, games, prizes, and a community barbecue. The event was created by frontline staff and continues to serve as a celebration of community, connection, and neighbourhood engagement.

In addition to providing a fun day for local families, the event helped connect residents with community organizations and support services. Local agencies and service providers were on hand to share information, answer questions, and help residents learn more about the programs and resources available throughout the community.
