Sault Paramedic Service Receives $30K for Training

District of Sault Ste. Marie Paramedic Services has been awarded $30,000 in provincial funding to support community paramedicine programming and improve access to care for local residents. The investment is intended to help strengthen services that support seniors and vulnerable populations while promoting health and independence within the community.

Community paramedicine programs continue to play an important role in reducing unnecessary hospital visits and connecting residents with preventative care and health supports closer to home. The additional funding will help ensure these services remain accessible and responsive to community needs.
