The Community Wellness Bus and Outreach Wellness Response Team are helping improve access to health and social services by bringing support directly to people in the community.

Through a partnership between the District of Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration Board (DSSAB), Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Algoma, Sault Area Hospital, Algoma Family Services, and the John Howard Society, the mobile service connects individuals experiencing barriers to care with mental health and addiction supports, basic health services, housing resources, and other community programs.
