Job Title: Summer Student – Various roles
Job Type: Temporary Full-Time; (35-hour work week)
The Social Services Summer Student Employment Program offers opportunities in the Kids Being Kids Early Years Program, and other areas of Social Services.
General Duties and Responsibilities of a Summer Student:
• Recreational programming for the Kids Being Kids program
• Food preparation/Safe food handling
• Corporate event assistance
• Administrative tasks, filing, typing, email and other correspondence
Students are invited to apply who are interested in and/or studying in the fields of:
Social Services diploma/degree program, Child and Youth Worker, Early Childhood Education, Business, Office Administration, Human Resources diploma/degree program, building trades, Architecture/Architect Technologist, or other related fields
ELIGIBILITY
Full-time students from the previous academic year that are returning to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year are eligible for summer employment with Social Services.
*Full G Drivers’ License and access to reliable vehicle considered an asset
*Bilingual in English and French considered an asset.
